Ingredients

  • 400 g salmon fillet can also be smoked one
  • 1 dl breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons onion flour
  • ½ tsp white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried dill

Instructions

  • Finely grind the salmon. A multifunctional kitchen machine will do the job nicely.
  • Knead the ingredients into a relatively firm dough. Leave to settle for a while to allow the breadcrumbs to absorb the liquids. In the meantime preheat the oven to 210C.
  • Roll the dough into fairly small balls. They hold together better during baking than big ones.
  • Bake the Salmon Balls in the oven for about 15 minutes. Check the cooking result by splitting one of the balls.
  • Serve the Salmon Balls with lemon and dill flavoured sour cream and boiled potatoes.
