The simple but delicious tomato and onion salad is one of the regular dishes on Spanish tapas table.

Tomato and onion salad
Ingredients
- 6 plum tomatoes
- 1 handful mini olives or capers
- 1 tablespoon virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Peel and thinly slice the onion.
- Cut the tomatoes in half.
- Put the onions and tomatoes in a bowl, add the balsamic vinegar and toss.
- Pile the tomato and onion salad into a serving dish. Garnish with olives and pour olive oil over the salad.
