In the first breath you can smell pear, green apple, pineapple and herbiness. Even a cosy Sauna with birch leaves comes to mind! The typical Sauvignon Blanc currant aromas are kept to a minimum.
The wine is pleasantly acidic and quite firmly fruit-forward. Fresh and mineral on the finish. A very successful purchase for the price. It went nicely with cider chicken, but certainly even better with smoked fish dishes.
