An open and generous aroma that is versatile. There are blueberries & rasberries. Also a subtle smokiness and vanilla.
The juicy palate is fresh, acidic and medium-bodied. The tannins are quite nice. The aromas show the berry, sour cherry, earthy and oak notes promised by the aroma. The finish is quite long and fresh, leaving the palate with a zesty berry character.
Nominated for Finlands Wine Magazine’s Red Wine of the Year 2020, the Jackson Estate Vintage Widow Pinot Noir is a good match for autumn meat stews and game birds.
