Air-dried ham and melon are eaten all over Italy, Spain and France. The saltiness of the ham and the sweetness of the melon offer a wonderful and tasty union.
Ingredients
- 8 slices air-dried ham Prosciutto or Jamon serrano
- 400 g melon
- 8 cocktail sticks
Instructions
- Peel the melon and slice it into 8 mouth-sized slices.
- Cut each ham slices in half. This gives you 16 ham slices.
- Wrap the ham around the melon and press down with a stick.
- Usually these will hold together without the stick, but the stick makes them more comfortable to eat.
