This wine is made from Portugal’s national grape variety, Touriga Nacional. On the nose you can find ripe sweet blueberries and strawberries.
The Portuga Reserva has a taste of dark berries, sweet herbal notes, anise and warm spiciness. The mild sweetness is counterbalanced by an appropriate amount of acidity. Ripe tannins dry the mouth a little. The finish is medium long and warmly spicy. Serve with spicy meat stews. Credit for good value for money!
