The aroma has blackcurrant, earth and spices. The youthful, medium-bodied taste has stony minerality, blackcurrant, licorice and black pepper. Rough tannins dry the mouth a bit. Acidity is rising from the backround. The finish is elegant and quite long.
A few years of ageing will probably soften the wine and open up the aromas. If you want to open the bottle when released for sale, serve the wine with a medium-rare steak.
