This wine is a pure Touriga Nacional from the Douro Valley.
The complex and open nose is dominated by plum and ripe blackcurrant. The full-bodied palate is firm. The wine is completely dry, but there is plenty of fruitiness. The blackcurrant and plum flavours also toasted fruit notes and coffee. The finish is quite long and leaves a juicy berry character. The tannins are fair but ripe.
Eleivera Tinto is an elegant steak wine with excellent value for money.
