Domaine Bousquet Reserve Malbec

Domaine Bousquet Reserve Malbec

The first thing to note about the label is the ongoing reform of territorial thinking in Argentina, which is putting more emphasis on localism.

A gorgeous Malbec hue emerges from the glass. On the aroma we go with the familiar notes of boysenberry to the pungent aroma of raspberry. Earth and rocks rise in the background.

Domaine Bousquet reserve Malbec is full-bodied on the palate, as a good Malbec should be. Good berry acidity and a nicely oaked long finish. Fine balance on the velvety mouthfeel. The tannins are soft, but enough for a meat dinner. A surprisingly affordable price for a Malbec of this quality. With tomato meat stew it tasted like a million euros!
