Mix the salt and baking soda into the sifted flour.
Add the milk, yoghurt and half of the melted butter to the mixture.
Mix quickly - don't knead the dough too much to prevent it from sticking. If you are seasoning the bread, do it at this stage.
Let the bread dough rise in the bowl for a while.
Put the oven on a high heat.
Use a wooden fork to lift the dough onto a greased baking tray. With a moistened hand, pat the pieces into thin long rounded discs.
Bake the naans at 275°C for 7-10 minutes, until brown spots appear on the surface and the crust bubbles up. When done, brush the cooked loaves with the butter sauce.
