Ingredients
  

  • 1 onion
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 dl vegetable stock e.g. fondue
  • 2 dl whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 20 green peppers
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch

Instructions
 

  • Peel and chop the onion. Sauté with butter, sage and five peppers in a saucepan. Do not brown.
  • Add the vegetable stock and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Strain the sauce into sauce pot. Add the cream to the pot and bring to the boil.
  • Add the remaining green peppers and mustard to the sauce. Bring to the boil again and taste.
  • Thicken with cornstarch if needed. The Green Pepper Sauce should have a lot of texture. Serve immediately.
